LAST THULE – THE COLONIZATION OF SPACE
GRANOLLERS — BARCELONA | 2019
As Neil Armstrong said: that’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind. In this third edition of the Panoràmic Festival we focus on the moon on the 50th anniversary of the arrival of man to the bright satellite on July 20, 1969.
Last Thule is the most primitive and distant object in the Solar System explored to date. The New Horizons probe, launched by NASA in 2006, is capturing images of Last Thule that will help study the beginnings of our planetary system more than 4.5 billion years ago. New Horizons is expected to operate until mid-2030 and could even explore another Kuiper belt object.
In a moment of hyper terrestrial connection, from the Panoràmic we look into space, we leave the Earth.
