The Open Panoràmic 2024 call is open until May 30 and is addressed to national creators who work with audiovisuals in a wide variety of formats; from photography, through video, animation, or a hybridization of languages. This call is articulated as a meeting point from which a network of interactions between creators, programmers and public is generated.

The relational space of Panoràmic allows creators, selected by the festival team, to show their work in the official selection. The festival also invites various international agents from the art world (curators, gallery owners, directors of art centers or visual arts technicians from public or private institutions) to exchange opinions with the aim of promoting and disseminating, if appropriate, the audiovisual creations of these artists through their networks or institutions.

This year and under the theme of the festival “Extremes. Times of polarization” we have received more than 50 proposals, and at the end of this month of June we plan to be able to communicate which are the eight finalist proposals that will be exhibited at La Capella in Barcelona under the watchful eye of the jury and the audience. In addition, the finalist projects will be exhibited on the dates of the festival with the aim of disseminating them.

This edition of Open Panoràmic is coordinated by Houari Bouchenak and Xavier de Luca from the Jiser Association.
