Not to be missed is the installation “Illasamay” by aruma | Sandra De Berduccy and curated by Valentina Montero at the Adoberia which combines traditional Andean textile techniques with new technological languages; and without a doubt…. what we have in store for you at the Refugi Antiaeri with the exhibition “Like Snow in the Middle of Summer”, a powerful dialogue composed of audiovisual works linked to the war in Lebanon on the corporal experience of aerial violence, created by the actor, playwright and visual artist Rabih Mroué, curated by Lisa Deml.

As every year, we have also entered the Cinema Edison through a proposal that allows us to revisit an artist, a work, a film in this case with “NON STEREO-TIP, polítiques obertes del desig” the curator Amanda Cuesta presents us with a project that talks about desire through the revision of practices of experimental cinema, amateur art and activism.

ATTENTION! OPEN CALL: ECOLOGIES OF THE PAUSE

Together with the Center for Research and Contemporary Culture Casa Planas, 3C Calce Culture Contemporaine and Festival Panoràmic we are launching a call for a residency for research, production and artistic exhibition.

The aim of the call is to encourage an innovative reflection on the current world situation in this first quarter of the century. We invite artists to reflect on the need to stop, to pause, to reflect on the current global situation, its relationship with the tourism model and its impact on the territories and communities that suffer from it.

The program consists of a residency at Casa Planas, focused on the research of the Planas Archive. A mediation in the area of Occitania, where 3C is located, with the intention of approaching the project and the work process carried out.

The results will be presented at the Congreso del Observatorio de la Cultura Turística COSTA in the Balearic Islands and at the Panoràmic Festival in Catalonia in 2025.

Execution dates: 2025
Funding: Fees, production
Deadline for submission of application: October 30, 2024
