Del que passa a fora reflect on how we see the world today. The work explores how current visualization technologies and the new ways of seeing they produce shape our perception of reality and reality itself.
To do this, the work starts from the window, understood from three different perspectives: the concept of the window as a metaphor for vision, the physical window from which the photographer has taken all the images of the work, and the system of digital and virtual windows through which these images circulate.

Erik Estany Tigerström approaches the reality he sees through the window as if it were a screen, and watches what happens outside to think about what is happening inside, inside this layer of images that mediates between us and the world. His project, Del que passa a fora, is a singular, powerful and conceptual work, where the author invites us to look at the everyday life he sees through the window, as if it were a model of reality full of signs to decipher. Erik Estany Tigerström won the sixth edition of Art Photo Bcn and the Copias Wall Award.
