Family workshop ” Descarats ” an idea by Andrés Hispano by Nataly Prada

This is a journey through a space full of images of art or popular culture where faces are erased. The purpose of this tour is to find ways to fill these empty faces with any image that the participants consider.
It would be about filling the space with images of art or popular culture where faces are erased. This selection of images would correspond to a previous research on this subject, the denial, erasure or invisible face over time (from the Roman Damnatio memoriae to photoshop).
In addition to this mural, explained in a class, which summarizes the approach to the theme of the face this year, the artist will make a selection of images, which will be shown in the Library, available to everyone, so that they can be activated, filling that ’empty’ face with anything: a new face, a garden, a map, microcircuits, some stars, etc.
