Architectural videomapping that explores social issues of identity and makes the malleable concept of beauty the main actor of the work.

In contemporary society, the human figure is everywhere and, with it, the established desire of the human being to see himself and others. But how much veracity is there in the images we project of our being? With the phenomenon of social networks, the self-portrait offers a partial image of the person represented through filters. Technologies designed to show the most flattering vision of the person in question and popularize a certain standard of beauty with the absence of defects and physical imperfections. An artifice that imposes itself and hides the enigma of that face, wanting to look what it is not and giving rise to alter egos of mutable nature. Faç a voluntat explores this use of masks that explore the performative nature of identity in which participants expose their lives in a continuous game between artificiality and naturalness. The form is transient and can be moved at will.

In this way, the outcome of the mapping proposes an experiential design in which digital technology allows the viewer to modify the appearance of the projected face and visual content through their voluntary action, through processes and algorithms of generative visual composition designed by the artist.

The music of the show is created by composer Juan José Ochoa.
