OPEN PANORÀMIC 2025
The Open Panoràmic is an open call aimed at international and national creators to participate in the Panoràmic festival. This call serves as a meeting point to generate networks of interaction between creators, programmers, and the public.
In this edition, the call is structured into three categories: still image, audiovisual essay, and other formats. The preselected projects will be part of the festival’s exhibition program.
Theme: “Pause. To a new visual order”
Panoramic Festival is a visual culture festival that explores the relationship between cinema, photography and new languages surrounding the image. Each edition of the festival reflects on a specific theme and conveys it through the image and its multiple representations.
In this 9th edition of the festival, the theme revolves around the concept of “Pause. To a new visual order”, offering an opportunity to reflect on the acceleration
and changes experienced in this first quarter of the century, whether in the sociological, geopolitical, or technological spheres, among others. The world of imagery has not only captured all these changes but has also been highly transformed and from the festival’s perspective, we want to initiate a dialogue that inspects this first quarter of the millennium to better understand the present of visual culture, and to project and speculate on its future.
Financial endowment
Finalist projects will receive a fee of €400 and will participate in the exhibition at Espai d’Arts of Roca Umbert Fabrica de les Arts of Granollers as part of the Festival.
Among the finalists, there will be one winning project per category, which will be awarded a financial prize of €1,000 (taxes included, and an invoice will be required).
